All programs

  • Are offered 5 days per week
  • Have a flexible arrival time between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
  • Offer the extended day program options
  • Do not require children to be toilet trained

The Programs

Two / Three Year Old Program

This program is specially designed to support the transition from toddlerhood to the early preschool years. There are eight children, two teachers and one or two student teachers in this classroom. Children are enrolled from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Younger Preschool Program

This program is designed as a mixed age grouping for children ages three and four, most of who are to the school. There are twelve children, two teachers and two student teachers in this classroom.

Mixed Age Preschool Program

This program is designed for preschool age children ages three and four, many who have already been at Wimpfheimer. There are twenty children, four teachers and two student teachers in this classroom.

Pre- Kindergarten and Full Day Kindergarten Program

This program is designed for children ages four and five. There are twenty children, four teachers and two student teachers dedicated to this program. Two teachers focus on specific program features for the older preschoolers and two teachers focus on the kindergarten children and curriculum. The kindergarten program ends at 3:00 p.m.
